1. The Cooperative Agreement
Valkana is a Mediterranean society operated as an intentional cooperative community. By submitting an application, purchasing invitation tokens, or entering our designated physical coordinates during the Summer 2028 gatherings, you acknowledge and agree to comply fully with these Terms and Conditions.
These rules exist solely to preserve the ecological integrity of the coastline, safeguard the privacy of our members, and maintain the aesthetic standards of our co-created space.
2. Admission & Entry Tokens
Access to all Valkana spaces, performances, and coastal sanctuaries is strictly governed by our membership-only entry model.
- Approved Invitations: Tickets and access wristbands can only be secured by approved members who have completed their application details.
- Non-Transferability: Invitation tokens are registered to your physical identity and passport details. They cannot be sold, gifted, or exchanged with third parties. Any attempt to transfer a ticket will result in immediate cancellation without refund.
- Age Threshold: All participants must be at least 21 solar years of age on or before the date of entry.
3. Code of Conduct: Presence Over Pixels
To foster authentic connection, Valkana mandates complete digital detachment.
- Digital Offload: Mobile devices, cameras, and internet-connected laptops are prohibited in all active social, musical, and meditative zones.
- Camera Locks: Your mobile camera lenses will be sealed with protective vinyl stickers at checking portals. Removing these seals in public view is grounds for immediate exclusion.
- Communal Harmony: Aggressive behavior, harassment, or commercial solicitation of any kind will result in permanent expulsion from the society.
4. Ecological Stewardship & Stone Protection
Valkana operates under a strict zero-impact model to protect the pristine Croatian coastal environment.
- Limestone Protection: Our host limestone structures, historic stone ruins, and dry-stone masonry terraces are thousands of years old. Carving, defacing, or displacing any rocks is strictly forbidden.
- Zero Waste: All members are responsible for their waste. Leaving trash behind, polluting coastal waters, or damaging local vegetation is subject to instant member revocation.
- Strict Footpaths: Walkways are calibrated to prevent soil erosion. Members must stick to designated trails and avoid traversing sensitive ecological preservation boundaries.
5. Inherent Risks & Liability
The coastal terrains of our Adriatic sanctuaries are natural, rugged, and unpaved.
- Terrain Safety: Walking on limestone cliffs, navigation near deep tidepools, and ocean swimming involve inherent natural risks. Members are expected to exercise personal caution, wear appropriate footwear, and avoid unsafe cliff structures.
- Release of Liability: By entering Valkana coordinates, you release the Valkana Collective, its coordinators, curators, and land owners from any liability regarding personal injury, loss of property, or natural hazards encountered during the experience.
